“My Heart: A Companion Of The Clouds” is the collection of unrestrained thoughts unaffected and unscathed by the cruel blows of a dreaded disease like Alzheimer’s. The thoughts came to the author’s mind and she jotted it down in her own rich Bengali language. The thoughts are like free-flowing clouds which spreads it’s wings on the blue sky without any restrictions or boundary–hence the name.
About the Author
Suchismita Roy had been a brilliant student, educationist, a music lover and an inspirational teacher at heart. She was the Founder Principal of D.A.V. Kapil Dev Public School, Kadru Ranchi and Principal of D.A.V. Ashok Nagar Ranchi. She had been the Editor of her College Magazine ‘Pracharika’, in Presidency College, Kolkata. She had been Head Examiner, Investigation Officer and Recruitment Officer of D.A.V. Schools (Eastern Zone).
She was actively involved in social activities from going to leprosy centres to free eye camps and free education for underprivileged children. She also promoted cultural activities both in India and abroad. Even very lately before she was bedridden, she was going to a Govt. Primary School for teaching underprivileged children.
